Who We Are
The Inter-Institutional Collaboration (IIC), based in Manila, is a network of eight (8) Catholic formation and learning institutions working in a collaborative and sustainable way, engaging in complementary programs, and sharing resources towards the transformation of society and a new way of being Church in Asia and the Pacific.

The Members of the IIC include Assumption Language College (ALC), East Asian Pastoral Institute (EAPI), Institute for Consecrated Life in Asia (ICLA), Institute of Formation Fondacio Asia (IFFAsia), Institute of Formation for Religious Studies (IFRS), Institute of Spirituality in Asia (ISA), Religious of the Cenacle (Cenacle) and St. Vincent School of Theology (SVST).
VISION
The IIC envisions and works towards a transformative Church that witnesses to the reign of God by embodying the values of inclusivity and inculturation, promoting a just, peaceful, and safe society that is caring for the environment.
MISSION
The IIC forms and educates people to become effective servant-leaders of the Church and society who promote inclusivity, justice, and peace for a safe society, and care for the environment.
VALUES
ACCOUNTABILITY
The IIC and its members implement their strategic plans and operations in full transparency and accountability, thereby becoming a model agency to generate credibility and trust among its partners, Church leadership, and members of society.
INTERNATIONALITY
The IIC and its members serve scholars from all countries in Asia and the Pacific and develop institutional partnership relations with agencies and organizations from this region.
WITNESSING
The IIC and its members empower Church leaders, religious and lay to live their faith in action, rooted in their friendship with Christ, engaged with their communities to respond to the realities of the marginalized.
INCLUSIVITY
The IIC and its member institutes welcome people of all backgrounds, faiths, political convictions, socio-political-economic status, nationalities, genders, age, race and cultures.
PARTICIPATORY
The IIC and its member institutes manage their operations and deliver its courses and training programs in a participatory manner for all its scholars.
SYNODALITY
The IIC and its members adopt the principles of synodality as pursued by the Pope, leading the IIC to participate and develop a strengthened communion, collaboration, and contribution to the inclusive discourse on transforming the Church of Asia and the Pacific into an adapted institution that is more aligned with the “needs of the millennium”.
INTERCULTURALITY
The IIC and its members serve communities across Asia and the Pacific while celebrating its diversity of cultures and promoting intercultural exchange.
INTERFAITH DIALOGUE
The IIC and its members, strengthened by all of the previous values, promote interfaith dialogue to facilitate positive interactions, collaboration, and cooperation between people and institutions representing different religious traditions, faiths, and/or spiritual or humanistic beliefs.
TRANSFORMATIVE
The IIC and its members empower Church leaders, religious and lay to work as frontliners on issues of social justice and peace.
