ASSUMPTION LANGUAGE COLLEGE

Providing Contextualized Language Training

Assumption Language College (ALC) was established on July 6, 2009. Its original goal was to respond to the need for language instructions of religious students from China as they prepared for higher theological studies in the Philippines. The College was originally named Assumption Language Center. It initially had three teachers and six students, who had a three-hour class instruction every day.

All classes were conducted in Adveniat House, the delegation house of the Augustinians of the Assumption in the Philippines Later on, classes were transferred to Galabert House at its present address.
